It is such a breath of fresh air to find a safe space in Auburn. My husband and I had an amazing weekend! First, drag at Hype Bar Saturday night. Then, Sunday morning we came for some coffee. We brought our 4 month old daughter and felt so welcomed and comfortable. The coffee was the absolute best I’ve had in Auburn. Usually the cold brew is too acidic and has a sour after taste, but Coffee Mafia’s was perfectly smooth and roasted to perfection. My husband also had the cinnamon roll and said it was delicious. Thank you for creating a safe space for all people. I’m very proud of Auburn for being so progressive. It makes the monthly trips from Atlanta to visit family a lot easier.
This is my favorote coffee shop in Auburn. The selection is amazing and so many flavor profile choices, including sugar free and alternative milk options. When I cannot decide, I give them the bare bones of what I want (hot, sugar free, almond milk) and they will make something delicious. I have only had their food twice (avo toast and bagel sandwhich) and both were great. The atmosphere is eclectic and very fitting for the vibe. Love this place and it is a must visit when I am in town.
Been going here for years (even before the name change and everything) and it has always been amazing. The coffee is the best in Auburn and never disappoints, no matter what I get. The bagels are also very good. It is usually pretty busy but that is largely due to its proximity to downtown/campus and the fact that I go during peak hours. That being said vibes are always immaculate. Seating and parking can be an issue because of how popular it is so I usually just order and leave. Staff is also great and accommodating. For lattes I highly recommend the Amazon Viper, Brown Bear, Lovely Lady, White Lavender, and Honey and Lavender Lattes. For food I love the Turkey Provolone Melt and the Avocado Dream. They also have Red Bull drinks which I have yet to try but sound great!
Visiting from New Orleans and desperately needed a decent cup of coffee. Coffee Mafia reminds me of home. Excellent price, great quality, kind service. As a coffee snob, I feel like I won the espresso lottery by finding this spot on my first try.
I visit Auburn periodically for work and I lucked out finding this spot!! Upon reviewing the website, I knew this place was hard!! I like my coffee tuff, like it might try to fight me later. I got tickled reading some of the other reviews... this place is called Coffee Mafia, not rainbows and sunshine. You’re going to get an authentic experience of their brand. I’ve always received great service. I’ve met nice people while waiting in line. I purchased a growler and I bring it with me for refills of one of their signature drinks “iced crack.” My favorite drink is the iced crack with salted caramel (half sweet). This coffee shop has so much personality. If I lived in the area, I would def be a permanent fixture on one of their eclectic couches. Thank you for serving up strong coffee with an authentic style!! Used to go here back when this is mama mocha’s while I was still an undergrad. The name is change, but the coffee still flows good as they use mama mocha’s beans. They have a lot of unique and different flavors for latte or if you just want good quality espresso they know how to do that well one of my go two stops when visiting Auburn.
Staff was so nice and friendly. They told me about their Instagram for updates. They have a reward program. They have a shop full of cool jewelry and art. Warm friendly atmosphere. Really cool drink selection I got a blueberry pancake latte! The staff was helpful in explaining the menu and differences in coffees. They asked what milk I wanted and the cups are paper. They have a lid, straw, and sleeve bar so you don't have to use plastic if you don't want to. Go if you haven't you won't be disappointed.
